Quick Thought Review: Even White Trash Zombies Get the Blues by Diana Rowland

White Trash Zombies Book #2
ISBN:   0756407508

Genre: Urban Fantasy

Angel Crawford is finally starting to get used to life as a brain-eating zombie, but her problems are far from over. Her felony record is coming back to haunt her, more zombie hunters are popping up, and she's beginning to wonder if her hunky cop-boyfriend is involved with the zombie mafia. Yeah, that's right--the zombie mafia.
Throw in a secret lab and a lot of conspiracy, and Angel's going to need all of her brainpower--and maybe a brain smoothie as well--in order to get through it without falling apart.

I'm still incredibly grossed out reading about brains and how they taste and are prepared but Diana has a great writing style that makes not reading one of her books impossible. Angel always seems to find herself at the front of trouble and I enjoy reading about her struggles and adventures. She really is growing into herself and I cant wait to see what is thrown at her next.

I gave it 4/5 stars

Jane True Book #5

Genre: Urban Fantasy

Jane's not happy. She's been packed off to England to fight in a war when she'd much rather be snogging Anyan. Unfortunately, Jane's enemies have been busy stirring up some major trouble -- the kind that attracts a lot of attention. In other words, they're not making it easy for Jane to get any alone time with the barghest, or to indulge in her penchant for stinky cheese.

Praying she can pull of a Joan of Arc without the whole martyrdom thing, Jane must lead Alfar and halflings alike in a desperate battle to combat an ancient evil. Catapulted into the role of Most Unlikely Hero Ever, Jane also has to fight her own insecurities as well as the doubts of those who don't think she can live up to her new role as Champion.

Along the way, Jane learns that some heroes are born. Some are made. And some are bribed with promises of food and sex.

The Jane True series is absolutely fantastic in my opinion. I have only a few sentences to say about TEMPEST"S FURY. It is safe to say that I am absolutely devastated by how TEMPEST'S FURY ends. I'm on the edge of my seat waiting for TEMPEST REBORN to come out and hopefully put my broken heart out of its misery.

I gave it 4/5 stars
